I will be talking about the wonderful and beautiful island of Samui. Samui happens to have a tropical monsoon climate, according to a lot of climate classifications. An island is actually a place that has a very dry season, especially in the month of February and the threshold for a tropical dry season is around 60 MM. The temperature is well above 18°C for almost the entire year. It reaches around 20°C when the climate is really warm and humid. This place also receives quite a bit of rain in the entire year. The heaviest precipitation typically falls in the month of October and November as well. Given the tropical climate, you could experience some rain showers here and there for the rest of the year.
Sure are some mistakes that you should avoid when visiting this place. You need to decide which month you want to go and visit to this place. I highly suggest visiting this place in the summer. Their summer is probably different than your summer, depending on where you are located. If you visit this place when it is summer in Samui, you are going to have an amazing time.
I say that because you will be able to experience golden sandy beaches, pristine blue water, amazing weather and, you will also be able to town if you wanted to. There are some Covid regulations that you need to keep in mind. You need to make sure that your country is allowing you to exit the country with the help of a tourist Visa. If you do end up getting a tourist visa to enter Thailand, you can definitely visit this place.
Make sure that you don’t take your electronics, especially when you are going to the beach because I could possibly get stolen but it is very hard to predict. Do not leave any of your essentials and valuables unattended. It is better if you leave your valuables in your hotel room. Keep in mind that the hotel rooms are actually pretty affordable but, they could get expensive, especially if you go during peak times. But, since there is a pandemic going on, you may get a really good price, if you go to any of the hotel rooms. I would also suggest that you avoid becoming an over-enthusiastic shopper. It is possible that you could get a lot of things in this place that you probably couldn’t get in your hometown. But, you need to consider how much luggage space you have left.
I would definitely suggest spending money on sunscreen because this place is going to be really bright and you are probably going to be getting sunburnt if you don’t have any sunscreen.
